When I got married, unforeseen circumstances meant I couldn't have the wedding I'd always pictured. I remember wishing my wife and I could have celebrated with everyone we loved, heard our parents tell us how proud they were, and held onto those memories forever. Not long after, I lost my dad. I missed him more than words can say, and I found myself wishing I had something, anything, to see his face or hear his voice one more time.

That's when I made a promise to myself: every wedding I film, I shoot as if it were my own. I bring the same care, the same eye for the funny and fun moments, and the same attention to the emotional ones, because I know exactly what it feels like to want those memories preserved.
